Is T-Pain The Next Member of Young Money?

Although he's signed to Akon's Konvict Muzik imprint, is T-Pain jumping ship? Or inking a new deal with Lil Wayne's Young Money label? That's the word, according to jeweler Gabriel Jacobs.

Via an interview with VladTV, Jacobs revealed he was making a custom piece for the Florida singer, which fuses the names of both T-Pain and Wayne's record labels -- Nappy Boy and Young Money.

"T-Pain's about to sign to Young Money," the jeweler told VladTV. "He better, after doing this. So you see it's all blacked out. It's all natural, red rubies, black diamonds. We gotta put a red ruby necklace on this thing. The pendant is worth around $45,000 and when it's with its chain, it will cost $100,000." At press time, news of this signing had not been confirmed by the Nappy Boy or Young Money camp. Stay tuned...

In 2008, Pain and Weezy announced that they had formed a group together called T-Wayne, and were reportedly working on an album. So far, there's no word if the plan is still in place. Right now, Pain is prepping the release of his fourth album, titled RevolveR, set to drop sometime this year.
