Before starting Chopper City Records
in New Orleans, Louisiana, B.Gizzle began his career with Cash Money
Records as the street lyricist reporting the stories of the day, evening
and night of Uptown New Orleans - rhymes always above the fold like a
headline story in USA Today. He is the Original and ..1 Hot Boy of the
CMR/Universal multi-platinum group, the Hot Boys. Before to national
distribution and critical as an underground artist on Cash Money's
independent label, he was known as B.G., Geezie or Bling Bling Slim. He
sold more tha 250,000 units regionally. With national distribution, his
album releases became certified gold and platinum! Having been in the
music industry since 11 years old, B.Gizzle learned the music business
from the basement to the penthouse - stopping at all floors in between in
order to master details of the business that lived on each level.
